is it possible to communicate between 2 PC
through ethernet  cable
with profinet protocol
used LabVIEW ?

I would like to test the profinet communication between 2 PC and then implement the tested procedure to the PC <-> PLC communication.

What i need to install for it ?

I am new in this field, so please be clear.

Communication between 2 PC´s is possible. 

When you want to communicate with Profinet protocoll, at least one of them must be IO-Controller and the other IO-Device, or you need a third device as IO-Controller, that handles that Comunication and the PC´s are IO-Device. 

Profinet communication is always between IO-Controller and IO-Device, the same like Master-Slave with Profibus. 

To give you more information about what is possible, we need more information about the whole system you have.

thank you for fast answer. The system is the following:

SYSTEM:
PC with LabVIEW application and PLC which should communicate through simple ethernet cable, no real time.

But i have no PLC for testing, that's why i would like to test communication between 2 PC's (alternative system).

So for testing I would like to use PC1 as server (controller) and PC2 as slave (device).
Actually, with PC1 (controller) I would like to simulate PLC.
Do i need some additional device for communication between these 2 PC's ? I mean SIMATIC S7 or something else.
If you could propose a working LabVIEW example, that will be fine.

For other information about system you need, please let me know.
