Hello, As jklm mentioned that card is not 'compatible' for Siemens PLC. But if you take ModbusTCP or Profibus that would be another story. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |

Hello Mojy; To complete Umencho's remarks, the Altivar drives support a wide variety of communication protocols, some of which are easy to use for data exchanges with a S7 PLC. Ethernet/IP is not one of these (it is native to Controllogix PLCs from Rockwell). One example of compatible protocolsis Profibus-DP: ATV61/71 Profibus DP manual - VW3A3307 ATV61/71 Modbus TCP/IP manual - Daisy Chain Ethernet card - VW3A3310D S7 OpenModbus/TCP - IT4Industry - Siemens Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
