i need to communicate with instrument in the field to do calibrate or to check it's healthy by the pc and this pc doesn't have cp 5611 and it has the pcs7 program and PDM.

the details for my system as below:

it is a DCS system by pcs7 , i have engineering station (RS ) has all softwares which we need and also it has PDM software,

the( ES) is connected to REDUNDANT CPU 400 by ETHERNET and the CPU is connected with profibus PA instrument by DP/PA coupler by profibus DP.

when i tried to communicate with one of PROFIBUS PA instrument i found i can't establish the connection.

so could you let me know how can i do this???

but if i will do this configuration and download it when the cpu in run mode it will go to stop mode or not ????
