Hello pattanaik; I do not know of a way to communicate with G120 drives over Controlnet. But if you open this manual you will find different fieldbuses supported by Sinamics drives, including Rockwell's (Allen-Bradley)Ethernet/IP; you should be able to find a solution for your project here.. SINAMICS Drives - Ethernet I/P - Siemens Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello pattanaik; The easiest gatewayfor Ethernet/IP toon yourRockwell PLC would be a Ethernet/IP processor, such as this one for a Controllogix (there are different processors available for all Rockwell (A-B) PLCs): 1756-ENBT ControlLogix EtherNet/IP Module The application provided earlier by zako_ will help you with the required code for the Rockwell PLC and for the Starter configuration on the G120. If you would rather search for gateways fron ControlNet to Ethernet/IP, the web will give you solutions from different manufacturers; but I have no idea what you will use as a control code in the PLC in that case: ControlNet Interfaces and Gateways - Anybus - HMS ControlNet Gateway - FieldServer Technologies Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
