communicating with a printer over RS232

I just want to sent the command: "1Z" and "0Z" to the videoadapter. This must be very simple but still I want get it to work! Very frustraiting! I can't find any samlecode for this. I get the errorcode 8088 out of the SEND_PTP-block and that code is not described in the help file! See atteched printscreen Can anyone help me with this? The protocol is like this: send ENQ to printer (05h) receive ACK from printer (06h) send command to printer (XXXXXh) receive ACK from printer (06h) I can send this command successfully only once (printer starts), but if I send it again nothing happens. If I restart the processor, it works again but again only first time. What am I doing wrong? Is there a example of proper communication that could help me? Thank you in advance for any help, igor
