nishu Posts: 66 Rating: (1)	DEAR SIR, I HAVE TO COMMUNICATE CPU 317-2PN/DP WITH FLS AUTOMATION SOFTWARE ECS V7.0 SR5 OVER ISO ON TCP/IP PROTOCOL. I TRIED LOT BUT NOT SUCCEED, BUT WHEN I TRIED WITH S7-400 CPU WITH CP 443-1 IT COMMUNICATE. PLEASE HELP, ALSO SUGGEST WHETHER WE HAVE TO LOAD SOME FB ON S7-300 FOR THIS TYPE OF COMMUNICATION.

The S7-400 CP uses AG_SEND / AG_RECV functions to communicate, the PN CPU you use has T-Communication which is a different interface. Did you ever configure or used T-Communication yet? J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear nishu, well... let us start with the first step. Do you know which protocol is being used to communicate with your FLS Automation Software? If it is ISO on TCP, as you wrote with your first post, you need certain FC’s in the PLC. These FC’s are called AG_SEND / AG_RECV or AG_LSEND or AG_LRECV. If you are not aware which type of protocol is being used between your PLC and the FLS Software please verify this in NetPro. Do not worry if you do not find any entry for a connection at your CPU, in this case it may be that you use S7-Communciation. This is a service used by the OS at the PLC CPU. In case of the S7-Communication you do not need to load anything additional to the S7-PLC CPU because this service issupported withS7-300 and S7-400type of CPU. You just have to adjust your FLS Software to recognize the S7-300. Do you have any configuration set being used with your FLS System... Parameters which could be helpful for us to understand what you do... and how? Best regards J_Bell
