Communication between CPU 317-2 PN/DP and 1214 DC/DC/Rly: transfer an integer

You can establish a PUT/GET between S7-300 and S7-1200 with TIA AND STEP 7 But you can NOT use optimzed data access. Have a look in this faq http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/92269951 Dear Expert when i tried to transfer an integar from my S7-300 CPU to S7-1200 CPU i am unable to fetch that at 1200 side. Example PLC - and data block variables. Also the parameters of the calles blocks (FB and FC). With best regards Cicero

Actually when i tried to send an integar using FB 15 addr_1 P#DB2.DBX0.0 BYTE 1 and sd_1 P#DB1.DBX0.0 BYTE 1 when i tried this,it doesnt show anything on the partner CPU. When i add 16 boolean bits with the integar defined in the DB1 and send it to the partner CPU using addr_1 P#DB2.DBX0.0 BYTE 2 and SD_1 P#DB1.DBX0.0 BYTE 2 it reads the integar and the next 14 bits consective to the integar but it didnt read the last 2 bits. Kindly can you clear why it dont read the last 2 bits? Do it use the last 2 bits as flags or something like that or i am making mistake at some point. Thanks.
