Communication between CPU312

Dimbas Posts: 75 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts! We have two CPU connected on network MPI (first - CPU312C 6ES7 312-5BE03-0AB0, second - CPU 312 6ES7 312-1AD10-0AB0) distance between them of 200 meters. What it is recommended to use in this case communication functions and where it is possible to get an example of their use? Best Regards Dimbas

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Dimbas, I hope that you use 2 RS 485 Repeaters in between your MPI Bus, because otherwise you may loose one or both of your CPUs sooner or later... but anyway. The only way to exchange Data for a S7-300 CPU on MPI is X_PUT / X_GET or X_SEND / X_RCV.
