But I don't know how to give ip address to IM153-4. in hardware, i wrote cpu ip is 192.168.98.10. im153-4 ip address is 192.168.98.11 pc ip address 192.168.98.12. i can be online to cpu. but cpu does not find im 153-4 how can I download program into im153-4's memory card ? jklm Platinum Member Joined: 12/22/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, The IM is a Profinet IO device. In HWconfig you will see that that the IM has a "device name". You can choose a name by yourself (should be unique in the network). - If you change the name from the default one, compile HW, download to CPU. - Now you must also assign the choosen name to the IM itself. Select the IM, and in the menu "PLC" you will find the menu point "assign name".

If I can't; Can I use ET200M IM153-4 if I insert additional module to CPU412-2DP ? Or do I have to change cpu type with the one who has PN?
