Dear all,

We have 400H system with on board mpi/dp port. No CP available in the configuration. We need to communicate 4 number of H SYSTEM ( 4 set of H SYSTEM). In one system we have MODBUS rtu slave card. So from other system need to collect data to this cpu and send to dcs. Maximum 4 word of data need to collect from each H station.

What is the best and economic solution to do the same.

Al suggestions are welcome.

Update-

There is only 1 port in the cpu which is configured as DP. Slaves are connected to this port. ( Via single sided redundancy). Y coupler is also there in network.

So what is the best way to communicate between 4 similar system ?

I guess exchanging data between the system either using 'GET/PUT' functions or using 'Global Data' could solve your requirement. (I do not have the hardware setup with me to test it though...). Pls try and post your result.

But in my case I don't have MPI port available. MPI/DP port configured as DP master and slaves are connected.

I think that case is not matching with my requirements. In my system, already 412h CPU is there. No CP available, on board port is configured as DP.

4 identical systems are there. In 1 system , cp341 is available. Instead of installing cp341 in each H system, we are planning to get the data to one CPU and send from there to dcs via MODBUS Rtu.

Here am worrying about plc-plc communication for H system.
