Good day

Can someone please help me, I'm using a HMI tp 277 touch and a S7-300 PLC. I can transfer data from my PC to The HMI panel with TIA v13. But the problem is the HMI and the PLC is not communicating. The PLC and the HMI are connected via Ethernet. I read in the HMI manual that the HMI needs to be in the "Online" mode. So can someone please tell me how to switch it to the online mode.

Are PLC and HMI in oneTIA Portal  project?

Go to Devices and Networks and go to tab Networkview.

Here you see HMI and CPU. At the left top, you see Connections. Select it and select HMI Connection.

Then you can combine the HMI to CPU. (Blue dotted line)

In HMI project go to Connections. Here you will find the HMI connection_1, check if this connection is 'online'.
