Communication between IM151-8 and PM1200

Hi all

I want to read PM1200 parameters by IM151-8 (with a TCP/IP gateway).Modbus address is from 3901 to 3979.I use "MODBUS_PN_CPU_EXAMPLE" but in variable table maximum value for "CONTROL_DAT".LENGTH that I can set  is 60.Value more than 60 result A006 in "CONTROL_DAT".Save_STATUS_MODBUS

Hello Bijan,
error A006 means that you try to access an address which has not been mapped in the S7. Your parameter DB looks like you should have mapped this address. I think that you changed the parameter DB without a restart of the CPU. The parameters are only moved to the Modbus instance DB with the execution of OB100. The Modbus FB uses only the values in the IDB during runtime.

I restart CPU after downloading DB2 but A006 come.

attach an online print (PDF file) of the Modbus instance DB, I will take a look at it.

Hello Bijan,
the instance DB show START_1 = F3C, END_1 = F78. You have probably a difference in initial value and current value in the parameter DB. The current value is the one which is evaluated.

I Chang END_1 manually and my problem was solved.Do you know why it didn't change after restart CPU or Is there any way to automatically apply changes?
