Hi experts

I'm having problems connecting a Mitsubishi HMI GS2107 to a S7-1211c controller.

I'm using GT Designer 3 and TIA v14.

In the GOT the controller settings are: Siemens OP (ethernet), driver Ethernet(Siemens OP).

They are connected through Ethernet.

I'm quite new to Siemens PLC's, so can anyone please provide me with a quick guide

or otherwise help me?

sorry,  I don´t know the Designer-Software. Which Problem do you have ?

In S7-1200 with Firmware >=V4.0 you have to permit Acess with PUT/GET.

As Towome say, enable Get / Put in the S7-1200.

Blocks must be created with Standard access,. Blocks are created as Optimized as default ie. You have to change this setting in the properties 

I enabled the: Permit access with PUT/GET.

But do I need some kind of communication block in my program?

When I ping from the Mitsubishi panel, it can see the 1211c controller.

I've tested with a memory-bit push-button on the HMI panel, but no connection to the program

in TIA?

Hello,

I don't know that Mitsub SW, how you defined that bit button? Can you show system? Do you have other Siemens Driver options? Another solution can be use Modbus TCP option, of course if Mitsub HMI support this driver.

Attached are pictures of the program and setting.

I admit, i'm new to Siemens and HMI over ethernet, but I think I'm missing,

some kind of adressing. 

E.g OMRON seriel connection is so easy, You just point the HMI object to Host=serial and then address? Thought it would be as easy, with ethernet?

I've choosen the S7-1211c as Host and then just the memory-bit address, but nothing happens 

Do I have to somehow install or add the HMI in TIA?

 Normaly you don't have to create any blocks in the PLC if you use Get/put. I don't know the Miitsubishi Panel, but I have seen plenty of other vendors communicate direct with a Siemens PLC without blocks or connections created in the PLC.
