We have a CPU318-2 and a CP343-1, and we want to stablish communication with an artifitial vision equipment via TCP/IP Winsock. What we have to do? Have we got to create links in the ethernet net? And you need to configure a connection in Netpro. Look here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22790099 Now, in my opinion, i would recommand to use S7 protocol (on top of TCP/IP). Simatic Net offers in that case for the PC side S7 drivers and an OPC Server.

Am I making something wrong? Thank you, best regards
