Hello, The manual states: The AXIOM-X provides several bar code data transfer options including: UDP messaging, operation as a TCP/IP client or server. |

Daer Sir, I've not used "open communication wizard" to parameterize the scanner. I'm not aware of it. Can you explain it please. I have just assigned IP adress & other settings to Scanner through its proprietry software. I'm also attaching here my program. I'm having concern regarding entry parameters ID, LOC_PORT, REM_PORT of FB97. I'm using IM151-8 3PN/DP as PLC. Thanks in advance.

Hello Plcbug, I'm a little bit confused. You write you want to communication with a CPU315, but in your project a IM151-8 is inserted. CPU315 and IM151-8 need different values for local_device_id in UDT65. At the moment you are using 2, this is the local_device_id for CPU315 - it won't work with IM151-8. The open communication wizard is used to set up the UDT65 for the CPU not to parameterize the bar code reader. Did you setup the bar code reader for active connection establishment (TCP client)? Which port number did you parameterize at the bar code reader? Regards, Kaulquappe |
