Dear all! I’m in trouble with communication between s7 1200 and s7 300 via profibus DP. Could you please review this configuration and help me detect the problem or any another solution! I config S7 300 (6ES7 315 – 2AF03 – 0AB0) as master via DP interface on plc and s7 1200 (1214C DC/DC/RLY) as slave via CM1242-5 (profibus DP slave) The problem is s7 300 and S7 1200 project config are created on separate projects, S7 300 station in SIMATIC MANAGE and s7 1200 station in TIA V13 SP1. Because of plc s7 300 hardware is not exist in TIA hardware catalog. So that, when I config "area tranfer" for CM 1241-5 I have to add one plc 315-2 DP with newer order number. I wonder is that possible? when I download config to two plcs then plc s7 1200 show error (RUN led is ok, error LED flashing ,LED of CM 1242 is red. Diagnostics in s7 1200 is 1. new IO access error, 2. : IO device failure – Bus error s7 300 config project [snip] ... s7 1200 config project [snip] ... AttachmentS7-300 profibus.rar (514 Downloads) |

Hi Mr, judging only from description of your problem (I do not have s7 and I do not have tia v13, actually I only have V12) I would say say that this communication would never actually perform right... ever. The reason, in my humble opinion is because two hw modules that you are using (cpu 300 and cm 1200) do not know that they have to communicate... This is actually only the problem for cpu master, in your case 312 that you are configuring in Simatic S7... So the solution might be: get the .GSD file from this: GSD for CM dp slave then install this gsd in simatic s7 and then configure your master... After that you simply go to tia v13 to configure your CM... Note that the IO errors and red leds will vanish only when the communication is not perfectly configured... Until than enjoy red lights... I'd be very happy if this could be of any help to you. Janko |
