Which interface does it use ? I have to say that I do not know about Unisab controllers at all... Also he should provide us detailed information about S7-300 CPU - if it has PN interface etc.. Bryll Posts: 168 Rating: (4)	The Unisab III controller is equipped with a Profibus communication port. The Unisab II can if it's an early version be upgraded with a Profibus communication port, the later versions of the Unisab II was shipped with the upgrade. The built in RS-485/422 port of the Unisab II is only for use with their dedicated slave system. You can find more information here: http://www.sabroe.com/en/products/controls/ Their support is outstanding, I found them to be very helpful when I had to implement a Profibus communication to a PLC system. I was supplied with ready to use function blocks for both Siemens 300 and Mitsubishi Q and FX system. Edit: I found the GSD files for Unisab II and the program examples for Step 7 if anyone is interested.

Bryll Posts: 168 Rating: (4)	Got a PM with a request for the GSD files and the example files for S7-300. It's a quite large package, roughly 40-50MB. If anyone like to have the files, a drop box or similar is needed.

Bryll Posts: 168 Rating: (4)	As I now and then are asked to send the Sabroe GSD files for the Unisab II controller and examples. GSD files attached as a start. Unfortunately are the examples to large to upload here. They are made in Step 7 classic. Attachment Unisab II GSD Files.zip (704 Downloads)

My 2nd question was, in the sample code do we need to send the Read/write command for FB1 Write value & FB2 Read value block everytime while reading or writing the values, I get little bit confused on how it works. Unisab_Support Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi Irfan Regarding using firmware version on UII, you need to upgrade to eprom version 2.05.2 and be sure that the Unicom IF/Profibus PCB is mounted in the Unisab controller between the relay print and the CPU-print. You can buy a complete packet on part number 1405.004 with everything for profibus on UII. Use the extended profibus version with GSD file 095D and not the tiny protocol 08AA, then this is not an isssue.
