Communication between S7-400 and S7-300 without changing hw on S7-300

lazik Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have one question. I need to make connection over ethernet between 2 CPUs S7-400 and S7-300. I can edit whole project on S7-400 but cannot change hw-config on 2nd CPU S7-300. I will exchange 2 data blocks. One will be readed from S7-300 and 2nd should be writen to S7-300. Can someone give me advice how can I do this? With AG_SEND and AG_RECV is this possible? So AG_SEND and AG_RECV is in this case useless. Maybe other method? Get and PUT should work? This is client-server communication so is not necessary to config this in both PLCs?

In case of using CP’s you need to create the network connections using NetPro otherwise not. Moreover this also affects the selections of the communications blocks…
