Communication between S7-400 and S7-300

dkg786 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, I need a help. I have two PLC S7-400 & S7-300, i want to exchange the data between them. Can any one tell me what are is telegram for data exchange in S7-300. what is format and variable of telegrams. I am using the CPUs 315 2PN/DP and CPU 417H and communicating through profinet interface. Plz reply soon, it's urgent

If you want a full-duplex unsolicited data exchange (i.e. each PLC sends data when it wants) you need BSend/BRecv pair : FB12/FB13 into S7-300 and SFB12/SFB13 into S7-400. An S7 connection must be designed for each PLC with NetPro This is a reference: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=18516182&caller=view If a DB sharing is enough for you, you can use FB4/FB5 (S7-300) or SFB4/SFB5 (S7-400) In this case you need the designed connection only on the "active plc" i.e. the plc that calls the above FB.
