Hi Everyone,

I Have to send data to a Zebra printer (GC420T) using RS232.

I Know how to use the SEND_PTP block , but I have some doubts about the Zebra commands that I need to use.

Does anyone have an example of a similar application ? It will help a lot.

Hello,

I can give you my little example, you can fill your send buffer with each character and send it as one block. You need revers-engineer it, is 128 code. Hope it will be helpful to you.

Yu can use for first f.ex. Hyperterminal and test this sequence for send to printer. If you'll have good results, implement changes in PLC code as you need.

• Operator's Register
• Time
•  Date

You have to move to "AUX SEND.DATA" the code :

^LH350,50^FO0,0^ADN,10,5^FDREGISTER^FS

^LH350,90^FO0,0^ADN,10,5^FD XX:XX:XX^FS

^LH350,130^FO0,0^ADN,10,5^FDXX/XX/XX^FS

^XZ

For RS232 configuration I have used this example:
