communication between s7300 and s7 1200 by profibus

israel87 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hi .. i have a problem with the configuration between a cpu s7300 and s71200 . I can't find examples for this application. just i want read the inputs in the s7 300 and write outputs in the s71200. i have a cpu 315 2dp this is the master and a profibus module cm 1242-5 this is my slave .....can somebody help me???

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hello Israel87, first of all both stations are in TIA Portal project or different Versions? Easiest way is setting up the S7 1200 as so name I-Slave and great GSD file which you will use on S7 300 as DP Master. Have a look to this document chapter 10.3.1.2. There you will find some information how to configure this: SIMATIC S7 S7-1200 Programmable controller
