fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 3/25/2025 Posts: 3042 Rating: (1061)	Hello Hari-G The simple answer is: You configure and program both sides correctly, connect them phsycially (e.g. via Patch leads and switches) and the Modbus on TCP/IP based communication will be established. As an S7 does not "natively" talk Modbus on TCP/IP, I suggest you consider buying for example the S7 OpenModbus/TCP offering from IT4Industry for it. I hope this helps
