Communication between servers OPC (Sinaut micro SC and Cimplicity)

aBarros Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi Siemens automation community, I’m trying to find out if it’s possible to establish communication between SINAUT Micro SC and Cimplicity (GE) OPC server. I’m gathering information with SINAUT Micro SC OPC server and I’ve been asked to compile the information and send it to an OPC server “Cimplicity”. Is this possible? Any guidance will be appreciated. AB

Also, sorry if I'm speaking too early i.e., without having complete knowledge of your setup, but just to help, something called as 'OPC Data Bridging' might do the job. rohitabhatia Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	Also, I've used WinCC flexible (as an OPC Client) and not its GE counterpart, I guess you might have the option of putting in a "server name"; here you can put the name of the Sinaut MicroSC server m2mopc.opc1 (please check for the exact name from the Sinaut MicroSC maual). Next, your client software should allow you to view generic OPC variables that are supported by the server. So, a bridge (like I suggested in my previous post) might not be required. I hope this helps.
