Hello stefy; http://prosoft-technology.com/prosoft/products/for_rockwell_automation/platform/controllogix/mvi56_pdpmv1 On this Prosoft page you will find the user manual that will guide you through your setup. You will need to download and insert the sample ladder file (available on the same page)that contains the softwareconfiguration of the MVI56-PDPMV1. It is simply an ACD file that you will open and then copy to your own RSLogix program; youi will have to create a tag and a UDT for the communication setup, and use these inside the sample ladder as suggested intthe user manual. There seems to be an AOI for the module that was not available when I installed a module last (I workedup toRSLogix5000 v. 15 only); since they seem to result in a gain of efficiency (reusable code, such as a S7 FC/FB) you might want to study this and see how to use it. Then you need the Profibus Configuration builder to create the bus parameters, add and configure the slaves that will be connected to the MVI56-PDPMV1 master. Once you learn how to integrate the S7 slave's gsd file to the Profibus Configuration builder, the rest should be relatively easy. So that you can easily setup and integrate the S7 slave to the new master, you can study the following example project: Master-slave connection between two CPUs in different projects Your case (at least for the slave section) wioll be similar. Also look at the master configuration in that example, it will show you how the Prosoft master would have to be configured to exchange data with the slave (whatever is designated an Input area for the slave's configuration must be setup as an Output from the master's side, and vice-versa) Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello Shailesh; Here are the new links to the documents I provided earlier: Sample ladder and instruction manuals can be found in the Download tab. And here is the FAQ I was pointing to: Master-slave connection between two CPUs in different projects https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/19449428 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
