Communication between Tia portal v12 SP1 and SW PLC

Hi all. My colleagueAntony G.wants to download his project fromTia portal v12 SP1 to software PLC WinAC 2010. For field IO communication we will use Profibus (card 5611 in PCI slot). At this point we were able to make a project in TIA portal, but we do not know how to download this program to the software PLC. In attached picture in my collegaue contribution you can see PG-PC interface possibilities. Our TIA portal is installed on the same computer as WinAC software PLC. We have tried to find some information regarding this issue but with no success. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Regards.

Is it possible for you to load from remote into the WinAC? I think that is easier. I found an FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/52638953 I don't know which PC you are using, but perhaps you do not have the required interfaces. In general: I think you need at least two Interfaces (one for the WinAC, one for loading) and connect them (yes, the same PC) with an Ethernet-cable. That is my experience with it, I don't know wether there is a smoother solution. |
