Hello Chartier and thank you for your replay, Here is the technical description for TM831 (attachment). From that what I read, it has IR Fiber Optical communication interfaceand thepurchaser told me that it has RS485. I also read that optional can be added RS232, Ethernet modul etc. And if everything is ok, I mean if I can make communication between TM831 and some CP (S7), after that in my S7 SW how I can see which byte is what (for ex. first byte is current, second byte is voltage etc.) something like when I use ABB drives and Siemens PLC (for communication between Siemens and ABB I know that it has in the ABB manual which byte is what)? You said that it has some work, but that is ok. But how? How I can make this? I don't know if you understand me, maybe my english is not good as I think it is Best regards AttachmentMT 830 i MT 831.pdf (152 Downloads) |

Hello drozerce; In the pdf file from Iskraemeco, they mention IEC 6205x protocol support. On their website, they specify IEC 62056 communications on their modules, even over modem lines and GSM. And they do not mention OPC as a possible solution. I personnaly have never worked with or studied these IEC 6250xprotocols; difficult for me to help you there, unfortunately.Siemens A&D division does not work often with what we call "substation protocols", although recently PCS 7 communication blocks for IEC 61850 have been developped. However, in Siemens' Energy and Automation division (formerly SiemensPower generation), you will find some communication modules for SICAM (based on S7-400 CPUs) that are described this way: Typically, these solutions are either based on the large system component AK 1703 ACP (19” rack design) or on the compact TM 1703 ACP (DIN-rail mounted). Like all members of the SICAM 1703 family, they can be equipped with different combinations of communication, both serial and Ethernet (TCP/IP). Different protocols are available, mainly IEC standards, e.g., IEC 60870-101/103/104 IEC 61850, IEC 62056-21, but also a lot of other well-known protocols from different vendors (product description section 6.3-2). You can look at the complete document on this link: |
