how to communicate or send data between two plcs using profibus.....are there any special blocks for that????????????? i m using two 313c-2dp as master and slave |

Hello deepak; The following application example from Siemens shows you how to setup a CPU 315-2DP as a slave to a CPU 414-2DP. You can setup exactly the same configuration between 2 CPU 313C-2DP, so you can 8understand the basic mechanism of creating an "intelligent" slave. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6518822 The basic problem is that you must determine exchange data areas between the master and the slave, aand copy the data you want to transfer (for example, in a DB)to these areas so they are transfered to the master and the slave. Study the example attentively; there is even a program download available so you can see how the setup is done (to use it you will need to change the CPUs used in the program).
