Hi! I am following this document of Siemens DP/DP coupler: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1179382 I have tested in Siemens TIA v12, but I cannot establish the interface between the two networks. I have attached the archive of the test. Can anyone point me out what is wrong? Thanks AttachmentTeste.zip (126 Downloads) |

Hello Bruno; I maight be just a bit old fashioned, but I cannot find a zap12 format or a tool to open them anywhere on the web. So I cannot see anything from your archive. Please give us screenshots of the hardware configuration of the DP/DP coupler on each of the DP-masters in your networks, generally this is where problems start with this type of equipment. Remember that you must have exactly the same amounts of data exchanged at every configured slot of the coupler, but reversed for each network: Inputs to the first netorkbecome outputs in network 2, outputs in network 1become inputs in network 2. See the attached illustration, taken from this manual: DP/DP Coupler |

Hi! Thanks for the reply! The zap12 is the archive from the TIA v12 software. I have attached a print screen of the network. I would like to interconnect, in profibus 3, the slave_1/Slave_2/PLC_1. When I try to connect the PROFIBUS connector, the module (slave_1 or slave_2) disconnects itself from the PROFIBUS 1 or 2. Thanks, Bruno AttachmentCommunication modules.pdf (119 Downloads) |
