Communication CP 525 vers HMI MP277

Bonjour je souhaiterai savoir s'il est possible de faire communiquer un CP 525 avec un écran MP 277 touch, pour récupérer les info transmises via le cp525 à une imprimante et par conséquent remplacer l'imprimante par l'écran.

The CP525 was made for serial communication. You also need a software COM525 to define the communication. Normally you use DB for the communication with the CP525.

I don't think you can use this device for HMI.

Asking the same question with as little information again will bring you nop new information.

You cannot use the CP 525 to connect to a Siemens HMI.

To try and clarify the issue, look at the Siemens WinCC Flexible  HMI communication manual, along with the sreenshot below exmining the possible links between a S5 CPU and your MP 277:

Now, if you examine the table below, you will see that no serial CP can be used with your MP 277, only Profibus and/or AS 511, the programming port protocol of the S5 CPUs. And if you choose to connect through AS 511 so you will need a TTY to RS-232 converter cable:

The only thing I can suggest is to create a connection between the cPU and the HMI with either of the defined networks, and transfer the data that used to be sent to the printer through the CP 525 directly to the HMI program. But then you have to understand what that data is, where it is located in the S5 program and when the sends are triggered. A lot of work, I fear.

May be the following path can be investigated.
The CP525 can be configured to speak the protocol 3964R.
And, from the manual of the S7-1200 V4.2,
The S7-1200 CPU supports the 3964(R) protocol to enable communication between a CM 1241 RS232 module or a CM 1241 (RS422/485) module and a communication partner that uses the 3964(R) protocol.

Once the data is in the S7-1200, you could connect a HMI like a comfort panel to the S7-1200.

DId no try that out, but is may be a way to get a step further.

The CP525 uses 3964R + RK512.

Where RK512 represents a small protocol to write and fetch data via normalized commands.

But the RK512 commands are well documented.
And I think that it should be possible to implement some RK512 commands as raw data inside 3964R telegrams in the S7-1200. At least a small subset limited to the fetch of a DB for instance.

 Yes, it is correct. But I think it needs some time to implement it if you are not familiar with it.
