GEOCHRIS Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	hi i am working in a project with 1 pc, 1 cpu314 with cp343-1 lean and two ET200M 153-4AA01-0XB0. Can anyone tell me where i can found information to make the HWand network configurationin STEP7 and all the communication between cp343-1 and ET200M;

In HWconfig: - define the CP as IO controller (In the CP properties, Tab Profinet) - insert an IO system - connect your ET200M to the network and define all used modules in the ET200M. - do not forget to assign the device names to the ET200M devices. In your program (CPU314), you must call FC11 and FC 12. An example on how to use these blocks can be found here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/31764614

THis means that it's not possible to communicate between a CP343-1 Lean and a ET200M directly. You need a CP343-1 or a CP343-1 Advanced to hve the Profinet IO Controller functionality.
