Dear Experts,

I could not communicate between S7-300 CPU 313c MPI and Wincc RT advanced ( on PC) in tia portal V13, but i can do with Wincc Flexible .

In wincc flexible 2008 , i see the HMI connection is MPI but in tia portal there is only ethernet.

So please tell me could i communicate cpu313c and WInCC RT without CP343-1 ? If possible please show me how to make a connection .

pls, how you can connect MPI to Ethernet??? Simply think again what interface you have available for PC RT and what interface you have on PLC side.

Update: pls give us exact type of your CPU 313C with order number, also if you can firmware version.

PLC full code is :

 version 3.3.12 
It only have MPI Interface, but i means that in Wincc Flexible , the HMI connection can be selected between MPI and Ethernet, so in wincc flexible i can control PLC via WinCC RT but in Tia portal, the connection is only ethernet so it is impossible or not ?

sry, can you tell us how your PC RT change Ethernet to MPI, simply sry I can't imagine still this conversion, probably you've forget tell us using of some adapter/card????

in your WinCC Advanced RT Project you have an Editor "Connections". Look here at the Settings of your PLC Connection.

There is an AccessPoint. In the most cases there is the Value "S7ONLINE".

On your Runtime PC there is at the Windows control Panel the settings at "SetPGPC Settings"

look if there is your MPI Adapter or communication Processor set for the AccessPoint S7ONLINE

(Please note that you see "SetPGPC Settings" in windows control Panel only if you set the view to Small or large Icons)

Dear Expert,

Now i test my Program with Wincc Flexible ( HMI program) and i write PLC (CPU313C) Program in tia portal .

I set the Set PG/PC is S7online/ PCAdapter usb A2( MPI ) , and i can control PLC via HMI (Wincc Flexible).

But in Tia portal , I choose PC Station (Wincc RT) , the problem is that the IE Communication is Profinet so i cannot make a connection with PLC. Do some one give me an advice in this case ?
