JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	You have not given any detail on the information on Schneider PLC side ethenet communication. CP 343-1 Lean supports the following communication functions The last 2 are Siemens only, so forget those. The possibilites are first 2. If the peer supports Profinet IO there is chance there. But I would say the most possible way is open IE communication with TCP/UDP connection. This is standard basic TCP/UDP communication on ethernet. It is an open standard and there is no propritery protocol. So this hasthe best chance. Please give more detail on Schneider side interface.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Dstudio, well, actually I think, as Schneider Modicon advertizes with they’re Modicon M340 that they implemented TCP/IP that the CP should be able to handle TCP/IP Connections too. Theonly issue for you seems to be to convert the values provided toa format supported by the remote side. Best regards J_Bell

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, let me just add one thing. A driver to support MODBUS TCP for the CP 343-1 Lean is also available. So if you want to communicate with Schneider Modicon on they're Protocol, this is possible. Check this FAQ: How can you establish OPEN MODBUS / TCP communication via the CP343-1 or CP443-1 and where can you find further information? Best regards J_Bell
