Communication issue between S7315-2DP and CU310-2DP

Sir,

My customer has PLC S7315-2DP and two S120 Drives one with CU310 old second New CU310-2DP.

Please suggest how PLC can communicate with both Drive Simultaneous as there is Different GSD.

My issue little complicated. Customer requires switch between new and Old CU as per availability. ie. incase of failure of Machine having old Version CU310 they will replace spare machine having New CU 310-2DP. and connect to PLC.

So One PLC but different GSD. So can PLC detect version of CU and as per that changing of GSD.

is this type of Logic can be built in PLC?

Can we reprogram PLC with both GSD files, and build logic to cater both version of CU whichever is present?
