Good afternoon !

Let's assume the following case:

It is intended to configure a network in which there is communication between several PLCs of independent systems and a single PLC which centralizes the entire system collecting data from all those independent systems .

Safety is a priority. Therefore, it is intended existing communications to be established without unauthorized access from other unknown devices (such as PLCs, HMI or PC of external companies or independent users).

The problem comes when configuring an access level "No access" (complete protection), the S7 connections stop working since the "Permit access with PUT/GET communication from remote partner" box is automatically deactivated and the S7 connections stop functioning .

The question is: Is there any way to communicate two PLCs with this level of protection but avoiding the interruption of communication instructions?

I guess PUT/GET instructions are instructions where remote partner is totally passive ( you don't need to configure any instruction in the remote partner ) . So I've thought that perhaps I need to use other communication instructions where configuration in both PLCs is required .

I also think its not possible, if you use the "no access" then the Put Get communicaiton is disabled in the settings. I also know no other solution. Perhaps you have to use another Communication type for the PLC<->PLC Communication (like open user communicaiton... LINK)
