Kripaharan Posts: 66 Rating: (0)	HI, I am using 1515-2 PN plc as master and D410-2 DP/PN as slave. I am using Profinet for communicating both the devices. By default my telegram is selected as Profibus. I couldn't find any parameters or hardware setup to select profinet. How to change the telegram as Profinet in the Simotion Scout software. I couldn't generate the GSDML file without changing the telegram as Profinet. I had changed the D410-2 DP/PN as I-Device but i dont know the procedure to change the telegram from profibus to profinet. Please guide me. Also i couldn't add or find any 1515-2 modules in the simotion hardware configuration. Is it required to create a module in the hardware configuration to change the Telegram type?

I am getting the below message while try to generate GSDML file by Script. "The PZD communication interface of the device isn't set to PROFINET. This is the integrated PROFIBUS Interface between SIMOTION and SINAMICS. The Script you use is for Sinamics S120 Devices! D410-2 DP/PN is not a Sinamics Device, is it a SIMOTION CPU, this contains a SIMOTION PLC Logic and Integrated SINAMICS Drive. The PLC 1515-2 can not communicate directly with thei SINAMICS! I think you should use a SINAMICS S120 CU310-2. Regards Christoph

Kripaharan Posts: 66 Rating: (0)	I have 14 simotion D 410 controllers for driving 14 Linear axis. I cannot change 14 Simotion D controllers. Instead will it help if i replace my PLC from 1515-2 PN to 315-2 DP/PN.

Kripaharan Posts: 66 Rating: (0)	Hello I have a Weiss Indexer unit controlled by D410 controller which i have already configured with 1515-2 PLC and is working fine now. Weiss provided me the GSDML file which helped me to communicate 1515-2 PLC.

Kripaharan Posts: 66 Rating: (0)	I have 14 Simotion D controllers to control Schunk linear units and 1 Simotion D unit for controlling Weiss Index Table. I dont have GSD file for communicating Liner Unit of Simotion D410 Controller. I have to create GSDML file from Scout. I am using 1515-2 PN plc as Master. I had already established communication with Weiss Simotion D controller and 1515-2 PN PLC. Now i need support in communicating Simotion D for Schunk Linear units. I have configured the Simotion D controller for all Schunk Linear units and tested the functioning and all are found ok. But while generating GSDML file, i am struggling. When i am able to communicate 1515 PLC with Weiss Simotion D controller, there should be some way to communicate Schunk Linear Unit Simotion D unit. Please guide me.
