ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	hi Do you mean to say in your configuration S7400 H and PCS7 stations are available and along with that you have Mp377 also. Ok. you can use MP 377 to communicate with S7 400H over ethernet or Profibus. Connection with profibus is as follows. 1. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/13595393. For downloading gsd file for the same refer attached link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/29339779 You cant connect HMI over Y-Link. I could find a manual which covers all types of connection please find @ http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23842653 post your comments

I have completed Engineering with S7400H controllers with MP377(Communicated on Ethernet)-Unit Control Panel.Now the client is having PCS7 station which requires communication with this unit control panel package.what would be the options Attachment conf.zip (103 Downloads)

Niranjan Prasad Posts: 691 Rating: (37)	It seems that your client was having PCS7 Staion with S7400 or H CPU, and now he wants your data also in the same existing PLC. You can achieve this simply communicating with both PLCs. Where this MP comes in picture. MP will show the data which is their in your PLC. Simply send your data to their existing AS Station It will be CPU to CPU communication

There are several block you can use for communaction like AG_SEND/RECV, GET/PUT, BSEND/BRCV. According to the weight of data you can choose your communication Block.
