I would like to know that, is it possible to communicate S7 300 & ABB Cluster Modem CI-840.

for first look to documentation and check what type of interface is available from ABB to communicate with external partner. If you will know that, you can then think about S7-300 configuration.

ABB rio supports Module Bus communication. And i haven't got any siemens module which support this communication.

So please give us some suggestion.

Communication

S800 I/O uses Advant Fieldbus 100 or PROFIBUS as an external communication interface and ModuleBus as an internal communication link between clusters and  their I/O modules.

Fieldbus Communication Interface

A Fieldbus Communication Interface module is used as communication interface to connect S800 I/O modules to the fieldbus.

There are five different FCI modules:

• CI801 for PROFIBUS-DPV1

• CI810 for Advant Fieldbus 100, with or without media redundancy

• CI820 for Advant Fieldbus 100 fully redundant communication

• CI830 for PROFIBUS-DP

• CI840 for PROFIBUS-DPV1 fully redundant communication

To locate the CI840 gsd file find out if (and how) you can use it on a non-redundant Profibus link (such as the one provided by a standard Siemens PLC, except for a S7-400H system) you would have to search further or ask ABB directly.
