Communication problem between OPC server and third party packages.

Hi, Please look at my network architecture in the attached file. I have 2 OPC servers and the communication with third party PLCs works fine. However, when I connect 2 OPC servers together (because I want to connect Lift Gas Compressor A to B), the communication with EDG is lost. When I remove the cable, the communication is restored. I don't know why. Is there anybody knows about this problem? Some more information: - Only EDG and Sea Water Filter are Siemens PLC. The others are AB PLC. - The problem happens with only EDG. - I check the HW configuration of EDG project and SWF project in my PCS7 multiprojects. The communication card model of EDG is 6GK7 343-1EX00-0XE0 while the actual card model is 6GK7 343-1EX10-0XE0. I wonder if this different has any effect? The communication card model of SWF is 6GK7 343-1EX21-0XE0 while the actual is 6GK7 343-1EX30-0XE0. Please help! Thank you AttachmentSTV.pdf (65 Downloads) |

Are you sure DCOM technology supports your OPC servers configuration? Best Regards!
