Communication S7-1200 Modbus RS485 Extended Address

But, always error 16 # 8189 "Invalid data address value." (image 1). Looking at the manual (image 3), I found that this address cannot be read. How can I solve this problem? I'm using TIA Portal V13 SP2 Thank you very much. Ps .: Sorry my english. Attachment images.zip (256 Downloads)

Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (324)	Hello, is address 20200 a holding register which should be accessed with function code 3? If yes, the slave is using the addressing of the data link layer, whereas S7-1200 is using the addressig of the application layer. In this case you should add 400001 to the address of the table of the slave. so 20200 can be accessed with DATA_ADDRESS 420201. Regards, Kaulquappe
