communication S7- Phoenix Contact

Iwein Hello Iwein, the ILC390 from Phoenix has a Profinet variant. So if you use that one, connection to CPU's 315-PN/DP should be fairly easy. You will find manuals of Phoenix ILC 390 (including Profinet control) here: Phoenix ILC 390 look under register downloads regards

Is it not possible to set up a network connection in NetPro (like you do for S7 communication) and use that connection to GET and PUT data in the other PLC. I am pretty sure they have such - as they wanna sell their components..... regards

First as already writte here, you can use the ProifNet Device option of the ILC 390 in order to integrate the ILC in the ProfiNet configuration of your 315. As alternative, if the direction of communication isn't important please have a look on our ComSiemens library: https://www.phoenixcontact.com/assets/downloads_ed/global/web_dwl_function_module/pc_worx_5_x_comsiemens_1_02.EXE which establish a IsoOnTcp connection from the ILC to the Siemens PLC Best regards Markus v.
