Hi, I have installed step 7 v5.5 sp1 in windows 7 64 bits and in vmware virtual machine (windows xp), I am able to connect through ethernet in virtual machine but I cannot in windows 7, Please I have been trying several options but not success (uninstalled antivirus, firewall, reinstalled step 7,etc)... Can someone tell me wich services are necessary for communication and wich port should be open (and how can I know in windows if the port is open). When I make a ping to plc is succesfull in windows 7 but not possible to connect.

When I try to activate s7dosHELP service is not possible to activate (s7oiehsx64.exe cannot activate, but s7oiehsx.exe is active)

I need help quite urgent, some kind of help because i have been with this problem so much time and I don´t know what to do

did you use a fixed IP Adress in the same subnet as the PLC?

Please, post a screenshot of the PGPC Interface settings.

V5.5SP1 is released for Win764 Bit so it should work.

S7DOS-help-service must be started. I guess there is something wrong with your installtion, or the created user rights. 

Try to install the latest Service-Pack of Step7 5.5. Run Installation as Admin(with rigth-click on setup.exe -> run as Admin)

Service Pack 4 for STEP 7 V5.5 and STEP 7 Professional 2010
