Hi ahita, I am afraid that the communication of a Unified system with S7-200 is not released: SIMATIC HMI WinCC Unified Engineering V17 - Supported PLCs That is, you can try and work or not, but it could not be guaranteed. Perhaps OPC communication is the best option, but again, it may not work. |
A rating will be well appreciated. |

Hello ahita; Itafusna's answer is quite correct, in the sense that WinCC Unified is a recent addition to Siemens line of HMIs, whereas the S7-200 family has been discontinued for some years. Therefore the connection methods between a S7-200 CPU and a WinCC Unified station might not be updated in their respective documentation. Possibly this FAQ can provide some of the information you seek, it addresses communication options between a S7-200 and WinCC Classic (v 7.x), and discusses various OPC servers that could help you out if you choose to go that way: either PC Acces or Simatic Net. Make sure you take into account the version of Windows that supports you Microwin software for S7-200 programming, that might be a limiting factor in your selection of communicaton drivers.. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ca/en/view/21915573 Hope this helps, |
