communication with cu320-2dp in profibus network from pc

SKG Bronze Member Joined: 5/30/2008 Last visit: 1/31/2023 Posts: 135 Rating: (3)	I am working in following configuration: 1. cpu315-2dp in profibus network1, is communicating with 3 slaves ET200M and 6 nos. TP 177b. 2. cp342-5 in profibus networ2, is communicating with 4 slaves cu320-2dp. If there is a profibus connector with pg socket placed in any of the cu320, is it possible to go to any of cu320 from pc with pc adapter (set for profibus) as I could have access if it were connected with cpu and if there would be a profibus connector with pg socket in cpu? I actually want to go online in this setup to cu320 fro my laptop. Any help will highly be appreciated.

Here you can check if you CP and CPU support S7 Routing: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/584459 To use the S7 Routing your should assign a PG/PC to the project and connect it with the Network1 of the PLC. If the CU320-2 is not created with GSDML then the System read out the routing adress for each CU automatically. Regards Christoph
