Hello Pravin; JBus and Modbus RTU are mostlytotally compatible, there is only a slight difference in the addressing offsets. For example, Modbus Function 3 accesses registers 40000 and up, JBUS Function 3 will start at 40001. Simply configure your Modbus master to query the JBUS slave following the Modbus-RTU slave, and treat them both the same. You should have no problems. If you need more reassuring. here is how JBUS is described on an excellent protocol comparison site I like to refer to, http://ourworld.cs.com/rahulsebos/
Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
