Hello sinnaiG; I do not know of a S7-1200 CM for CanOpen provided by Siemens. Are you looking for something like this? http://www.hms.se/products/cm_canopen.shtml On the link above you will find documentation on the CanOpen gateway and you can download a dedicated FB for TIA Portal (v11 and v12) that will allow communications between the CM and the CPU over the backplane. Look at the following description from the link proposed: Simply attach the CM CANopen expansion module to the SIMATIC S7-1200 PLC. Any device running the CANopen protocol or any custom CAN 2.0A based protocol can then be connected. Once attached to the S7-1200, you then set up the CM CANopen module from within TIA Portal®. Your CANopen network configuration can then be made in the accompanying CM CANopen Configuration Studio. Once you have the CM module from HMS and have downloaded the Configuration Studio and the required FBs, then you can use the video you proposed earlierto set up your CanOpen communications. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
