Hi all, I have read a whole lot on information pertaining to communication between the S7-200 224XP PLC and the TP177Micro touch panel. I am using a TP177B panel, however. Upon reading the manual for WinCC Flexibe Communcation (http://cache.automation.siemens.com/dnl/jU3MjY1MDkA_18797552_HB/BHB_flexible_Komm_T1_e.pdf) I tried everything that was suggested. I also came across the same instructions on the forums but nothing has worked for me so far. At the moment, I have an MPI cable runningbetween my TP177B and 224XP (addressed 1 and 2 respectively), 187.5K baud rate, IF1 B interface on the panel, MPI profile on the network. Clues that pointed towards a lack of communicatio between the two devices were non-functional tags as well as hash marks (####) displayed in my I/O fields. Please help. |

Hello, would you try, instead of the MPI Cable a PROFIBUS Cable with a PG Pack Connector? Than you could try both on one Interface. Best regards J_Bell |
