List Posts: 664 Rating: (17)	Hai All, In a machine,we have changed the motor of one axis;after connecting the motor we are getting Alarm 207412 -- Commutation Angle Incorrect [ Motor Model ] in another axis ... What its mean by ? How i solve this problem ? Thanks&Regards, Raj

Do you replace it with the same motor? Have you checked the fault value in r0949. If it is =0, it means comparison of pole position angle from encoder & the motor model resulted in excessive high value (>80 deg). Try to set angular commutation offset P0431. Also check the values of P0350, P0352, P0356 with the motor parameter details & confirm.

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello, What type of the motor is this ?? Why did you change it ? It is linear Axis or a Rotary axis ? Provides us the details..for the said error. You need to do Pole identification....then only this error goes... 1)Increse the distance for motor movement - p1981 (set 30deg) 2)Select the technique to find the angle - p1980 (10 - to find the angle in motion) 3)Start the measurement - enter "1" in p 1990. 4) Set P1982 --1 Thereare procedures which you need be to followed.
