Hello everyone, You may see, to be sure, in the documentation of COMOS how to use a local license. But, the steps I remember for that are the following: ==> Save a copy of the (XML) license file into the "Config" directory of the installation path of COMOS itself; ==> Rename the license file to this exact name, case sensitive: ComosLicense.xml ==> Done. Easy, would you agree? Now, if you have a (local) license restricted to a particular USB-Dongle, you will have to install the driver for that dongle, it is not plug and play. To use the license, you have to keep the Dongle connected to that machine, that makes sense. Never edit the license file, as it is signed. Please remove old licenses from that Config directory, save it somewhere else. Of course, the ID of the USB-Dongle and the ID in the license file must match, must be the same; It is a letter and 3 digits, like K123 Feel free to open a ticket at the support of COMOS, in case of any further issues. They are also reachable over the phone, especially in case it is urgent All the best for this brand new year, SuperPippo |
