Lately, from an S7 315 I had an upload of the cpu (no comments included) and an offline version (with comments of the original programmer). I know had been comparing the offline version with the cpu online at the machine and I only had differences in two FB'sthat where marked as green (only more recent version offline, but no code difference). Then I made a new project and uploaded the cpu-content. At home I compare the offline version with the uploaded one and I remarked more differences between both, and also differences marked 'red'. I was surprised and I downloaded the upload in a controler at my office. Now I saw again only the two green differences as I saw at the machine. How is this possible? If you want to compare an project with an upload of the plc (that should represent accurately the last version in the cpu) can it only be done reliably if the upload is first download in a test cpu (or plc-sim) and you do an online comparison? In the past I never had problems comparing two 'offline' releases, but I never compared between an 'offline commented version' and an upload from a plc. [schnippschnapp] second question is splitted to how to compare the hardware of a project?. Please advice me, thanks. |
