Compare two values

Carlos_e_vi Member Joined: 4/15/2022 Last visit: 5/24/2022 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello, good afternoon, I have a doubt, I want to compare two values, one value comes from an arithmetic instruction block and another from a counter, I would like to directly occupy the value that the counter gives me with the value that the arithmetic instruction block gives me in the comparator block analog but in order to compare the value of my counter I need to pass it through an arithmetic instruction block and then connect its output to the analog comparator block, is there any other way to do this without using the arithmetic instruction block on the counter value? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Values in analog value or in trend view LWE.

Why don't you use the comparator integrated in the counter? Or are you already using it for another function? Since the meter does not have an analog output, there are only 3 options: 1.) As already written above, you can use the internal comparator. 2.) You reference the counter value via an analog block. 3.) As in the attached example, transfer the counter value to the VM memory using Parameter VM Mapping and feed it to the comparator as an analog network input. Attachment Untitled.PNG (233 Downloads)

I tried the comparator that the counter has and it already worked, I think I was doing the wrong handling of values when it turned on and when it turned off, I had my on in the value that I wanted to turn it on and my off in 0, but what I had to to do is to put the on in the desired value and also my off that way when the value changed it could be turned off.

That's doable. You just need to set the values for the ON and OFF parameters by reference from the Math Instruction.
